A weight off his shoulders! Justin Bieber is all smiles after deleting his Instagram... as it's claimed he's 'ignoring ex Selena Gomez's calls' after online spat.

 Justin Bieber couldn't have looked happier on Tuesday as he took a ride around Los Angeles.

According to Daily Mail,The 22-year-old star, who deleted his Instagram on Monday night after a very public argument with ex Selena Gomez, wore a huge smile as he stuck his head out of his chauffeured SUV.

The pop star was spotted being driven through Studio City and grinning at passersby, shortly after reports emerged that he's now ignoring his ex's phone calls.

Selena publicly apologized for her comments on Justin's Instagram account but it seems the Canadian crooner doesn't want to speak to her.

According to TMZ, the 24-year-old songstress has been trying to reach out to Justin after she criticized him online for threatening to make his Instagram account private.

Justin had been upset by hateful comments from users attacking his relationship with rumored new girlfriend Sofia Richie.

A source close to Justin said Selena has been trying to contact her former beau since she lashed out at him on social media questioning his love for his fans and insinuating her cheated on her.

The source told the website he feels like his ex will not let go and she is constantly trying to put herself in his business.

Justin is also apparently rather amused that Selena attacked him over his plans to delete Instagram - which he followed through on - as she had once threatened to do the same.

The source also said Justin denies writing responses attributed to him that suggested Selena had cheated on him with Zayn Malik from One Direction - saying 'trolls' wrote that.

History repeating? Justin is also apparently rather amused that Selena attacked him over his plans to delete Instagram as she had once threatened to do the same

A source speaking to People echoed the sentiments that Selena is struggling to not let go.

'He was Selena's first love, and she hasn't been able to totally get over him, the source told People.

As for one of Justin's social media snap backs - that Selena uses him for attention - the source said this was definitely not the case, if anything Justin did that.

This comes after Selena publicly apologized on Snapchat saying 'What I said was selfish and pointless,' with the words appearing in white print against a black background.

All this drama stems from Justin making his new relationship with Sofia Richie public.

Justin threatened to make his Instagram page private if fans didn't curb the nasty comments about the model and the daughter of Lionel Richie. 

That led to Selena writing: 'If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol.

'It should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.'

Things quickly escalated as Justin hit back: 'It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still trying to point the finger this way. Sad. All love. I'm not one for anyone receiving hate.'

The blows continued, with Selena posting: 'Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.'

Justin then made good with his threat Monday night and deleted his Instagram account, which had 77.8 million followers.
